Fairfield Bay

Fairfield Bay, nestled along the western shoreline of Greers Ferry Lake , was established in 1966 as a resort/retirement village. Neal Simonson of New Jersey, a founder of Fairfield Communities, Inc., is credited with naming the community. One of the region’s most popular destinations, Fairfield Bay has 2,460 permanent residents and thousands of seasonal visitors. The resort offers two top-flight golf courses, sailing, tennis and fitness centers, a shopping district, a full-service marina, horseback riding stables, hiking trails, geological wonders, camping, lake cruises, a conference center, and accommodations, plus great water sports and fishing action. The “Bay” is located along Ark. 16, east of Clinton.
