State Center Rose Festival
- Family weekend event beginning on Thursday night with Rose Queen Talent Competition and Rose Queen Reception. Carnival opens on Thursday evening. Carnival, Chili Cookoff, Iowa Wine Tasting, Kansas City BBQ Contest and crowning of the Rose Queen Friday evening. Rose Parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday followed by events all day. Lincoln Highway River to River Auto Tour
- Classic Car Tour from Clinton, Iowa and ending in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Day one is from Clinton to Cedar Rapids. Day two is from Cedar Rapids to Boone, with a lunch stop and Tour of Historic Lincoln Highway Buildings along State Center, Iowa's Historic Lincoln Highway Main Street. Between 75 and 150 classic cars will be parked along Main Street in State Center while the drivers stop for lunch and an architectural tour of Historic Downtown State Center. Public is invited to take a close look at these amazing vehicles and meet their dedicated drivers! Public is also invited to buy lunch and take the free tour of historic buildings.
