Camp Algona housed up to 10,000 German prisoners of war from 1944 to 1946. A 70-foot linear display tells the story of this camp and its effect on the military and civilians in Algona. Weapons exhibit, World War II uniforms and artifacts, and displays of poetry, paintings and woodcarvings.
