Winfield Isle of Lights

Third Sunday through December - Winfield Isle of Lights is almost a mile long drive-through holiday extravaganza! It features literally hundreds of thousands of bright, twinkling lights. Included are Toyland, Zooland, Reindeer Road, Candyland, and much more.

Admission to the park if free. However, your donation make this winter wonderland possible. Souvenirs of sweatshirts, T-shirts, and collector's ornaments are available.

We encourage bus tours; however, we appreciate prior notification. The entrance to Island Park is a quaint, stone bridge, and buses exceed the weight limit. We are happy to provide alternate transportation.

Featuring two water slides, zero depth entry, 50 meter pool & diving area. A separate youth pool (for those 48 inches & under) has its very own "Serp 'n Dipity" water slide. Pool Hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 1:15 - 7:00 pm Mondays & Wednesdays 1:15 - 6:00 pm

Cowley County Historical Society Museum

The Cowley County Historical Society Museum is housed in one of Winfield's original schools built in 1886. The native stone building and its historical displays keep local history alive and available to the people.

Hiatt House

The Italianate Victorian home presently known as Hiatt's House Restaurant, owned by Mr. & Mrs. Richard Tredway, was built in 1879 by Col. J.C. McMullen, a local banker. Other owners were George Miller of the famed 101 Ranch from 1888 to 1902, and the J.W. Hiatt family from 1902 to 1974

Viet Nam War Memorial (Memorial Park)

Constructed as a replica of the Washington D.C. Viet Nam War Memorial, this memorial is found in Memorial Park just east of the Courthouse. The Memorial is engraved with the names of 777 servicemen and nurses from the State of Kansas who were killed or missing in action during the Viet Nam War.
