Event Details

The Masons will sponsor a free display July 4th at the schools on North Michigan. The display will begin at dusk. Proceeds of sales used for community projects and scholarships.

Fireworks Preview Night is July 1st at 7:30 p.m. at 201 N. Sumner.
The sale of fireworks begins July 1st and runs through July 4th. The hours are as follows:
July 1 through July 3 from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.
July 4 from 8 a.m. until midnight.

The Old Mill

The Old Mill was built in 1874 by D.N. Cook and John Hewitt. A 3 mile race was hand-dug parallel to the Arkansas River which produced the electricity necessary to run the mill. A dam was built across the river to help the mill grow. In 1910
