First weekend in June. Come to Niobrara, Where the Niobrara river ends and the Missouri bends!

Friday -- 6:00 p.m. - Car Cruisin' w/ KK93, Kiddie Parade- Wild West theme, Coin Toss, Live Music at Jimmy Deans' Lounge

Saturday - 9:00 a.m. - Car Wash, Car Show, 10:00 a.m. - Cutest Kids Contest, Bake Sale, Museum open honoring 100 yrs. w/ Great Plains Communications, Book Fair, Remote Control Car Races, Noon - Hot Dog Eating Contest, Hot Dog Lunches, Inflatable fun, snow cones, and cotton candy, 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. - Shopping Spree in the Hall - 2:00 p.m. - Road Rally, 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Billie Bob's BBQ, 9:00 p.m. - Street Dance - 10:00 p.m. Crowning King and Queen

Sunday - 9:00 a.m. - Ecumenical Church Service in Lutheran church, Pancakes and Sausage at Lutheran Fellowship Hall - sponsored by Amer. Legion, 11:00 a.m. Duck Float, Museum open, Food Special at Two Rivers Saloon, 1:00 p.m. - Parade - 100 years w/ Great Plains Communications, Car Club activities to follow parade.

Gavins Point Dam

Gavins Point Dam, part of the 1944 Pick-Sloan Plan, plays an important role in the successful operation of the six main stem dams and reservoirs on the Upper Missouri River Basin. The dam was completed in 1957 at a cost of $51 million.

Sage Brothers Memorial

The Sage Brothers Memorial plaque was originally placed at the entrance to Sage Brothers Memorial Field. In 1999 it was moved to downtown Niobrara, just north of the Niobrara Mall.

Constructed in 1870-71, this building served as both a chapel and a training school. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
