13 - 15 Tucumcari Route 66 Festival - Come to the best little festival on Rt 66 and start off with the Festival Kick Off Party & Annual Trail Ride through a lounge. Friday will be a day touring local Route 66 Attractions. Morning tour features the Tucumcari Historical Museum & the Dinosaur Museum. Afternoon is a 1-hr drive to tour the Route 66 Auto Museum in Santa Rosa. Friday night is a Friday Night BBQ Dinner Show w/ Ruby Ann Boxcar. Saturday is a big day all day and into the night w/ a Wang Dang Doodle Parade, cool vendors, Hot Rod & Vintage Car Show, Rt 66 Movie Matinee, Monster Car Crush, Kiddie Korner, Buckeroo Rodeo Rock-n-Roll with the Fireballs, Nomads, and the Atomic Fireballs.
