The Albany Historic Museum building was formerly the Albany Rural School District No. 1, Brown and Nemaha. The two story limestone building was built in 1867. School was first held in the new building during the 1867-1868
Sabetha, KS MuseumsThis mural is on display in the Sabetha Post Office as one of the WPA cultural projects in the 1940s. It it listed on the National Historic Register. The artist is Albert T. Reid.

Sabetha, KS Historic BuildingsThe original depot was moved to Albany from Bern, Kansas in 1965. It was destroyed by fire in 1980 and a new replica was built in 1981. It has been restocked with antique railroad artifacts. There is also a miniature train display. Caboose number 25061 and 25678
