Concert on the Green - First Town Downtown and the Windsor Chamber of Commerce invite you to the summer concert series sponsored by Windsor Businesses. Concerts are on Thursday evenings from 7:00 pm 9:00 pm On The Windsor Town Green and are free to the public. Starts on the last week of June through and occurs every week on Thursdays through the year.

20 Annual Windsor Feud - Are You Ready To Play? Played just like the "Family Feud", this live game show is loads of fun, gets you publicity for your business, and raises money to benefit the Chamber's community programs such as the Chili Challenge and more.

8 Ride For Alzheimer's - Kimberly Hall will be hosting a motorcycle/benefit Ride for Alzheimer's. Registration will be from 9-10 am and the ride will leave at 10:15. A picnic and entertainment will follow for riders, residents and family members. All proceeds will go to The Alzheimer's Association.

28 - 29 Ellsworth Quilt Show - As part of Windsor's 375th Anniversary, the Ellsworth Memorial Association will hold a Quilt Show. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Sunday,10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Antique and contemporary quilts will be on display. Attendees will vote to award ribbons to quilts in several categories, including Best Pieced Quilt, Best Quilting, and Best Quilt made by a Daughter of the American Revolution. Local quilt experts will give free lectures at 10:00 each day. Kris Driessen, "the Quilt Bus Lady", quilt historian and teacher will give Saturday's lecture on dating quilts made from 1800 until World War II. Sue Reich, a local quilt historian and teacher, will give Sunday's lecture on The History of Quilts in Connecticut with an emphasis on DAR Quilts. For $5 per quilt, attendees are invited to bring their antique quilts to be evaluated by these experts between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. each day. Space is limited. Sign up at the admission table.

Quilting and sewing vendors will be on site for the whole event. Food will be available for purchase. Take a chance on winning a new quilt, pieced and quilted by the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution. While enjoying the Ellsworth Quilt Show, take the opportunity to tour the historic Oliver Ellsworth Homestead and see more of our antique quilt collection. Admission to the Homestead is free with a paid admission to the Quilt Show.
