Perry Reservoir Wildlife Area

Perry Reservoir Wildlife Area Perry Reservoir Wildlife Area is located about 20 miles northeast of Topeka. It may be reached from the east on K-92 through Oskaloosa. U.S. 24 provides access to the lower end of the lake.


The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks has license to 10,894 acres of land at the north end of the lake for public hunting. The area comprises nearly 1,000 acres of marshes and several thousands of acres of upland game habitat. Vehicles should remain on gravel and blacktop roads during wet weather.


Boundaries are posted with yellow and black "Public Hunting Area" signs. Primitive camping is permitted on the wildlife area.
