Smithville Lake Campgrounds

A total of 777 camping sites are available for tent and RV camping at Smithville Lake. Clay County Parks and the City of Smithville operate these sites. Clay County Parks (Crow's Creek and Camp Branch) offer basic sites and sites with electrical and water hookups from $13.00-$19.00 per night. Restroom facilities, hot showers and dump stations are available and reservations are accepted for groups. In addition to all campground restrooms, Crows Creek Park offers a handicapped accessible fishing dock and picnic shelter. Call Clay County Park Office at 816-407-3400 for more information.
Smith's Fork Campground, City of Smithville, offers 80 full hookups for RV camping below the dam. Fees are $12.00 to $20.00 per night. Other activities include fishing, picnic area, softball and soccer fields, BMX bike track, skateboarding area, Lake Remote natural walking trail and nature area. Swimming Beaches - Located at Little Platte Park and Camp Branch Park, facilities include showers and changing rooms. Pets and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Dates of operation are Memorial Day through Labor Day from dawn to dusk. Day use fee required. For more information please call the Clay County Park Office at 816-407-3400.
