Lake Guide
Deer Creek Lake
Deer Creek Lake was designed and built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Deer Creek Lake project was first authorized by the Flood Control Act of 1938, for the purpose of flood control, recreation, and fish and wildlife enhancement. Boaters enjoy unlimited horsepower on Deer Creek Lake. In the summer, this 1277 acre lake is a popular spot for fishing and water sports. Additional facilities on the project include a marina, swimming beach, shooting range, archery range and horse trails.
