Webster Lake Hunting Small Game - Pheasant and quail hunting opportunities are limited. Hunting pressure is heavy on weekends. Hunts after November or during the week may be more productive.

Special Disability Area - A 320 acre area adjacent to Brown\'s Hollow campground is open to vehicle access for disabled persons through a special permit. Contact the Webster Area Office for details.

Big Game - Deer and turkey populations provide limited archery and firearms hunting. Both Mule Deer and Whitetail deer can be found on the area.

Migratory Birds - September hunters can find dove concentrations near burned or mowed wheat fields. Ducks and geese use the lake during their migrations. Up to 5,000 Canada geese spend the winter. Mallards are the most common duck but there are other species during spring and fall.

A 600 acre waterfowl refuge is closed to all hunting between October 1 and March 1. Within this refuge a 200 acre area closed to all activities from November 1 to January 31.

Furbearers - many furbearers inhabit the area. When the season is open, trapping and running is allowed in areas open to hunting.
