Grapevine Lake Equestrian Trails

Rocky Point Trail – Approximately 3 miles.

Users: Hiking and equestrian

Description: The Rocky Point Nature Trail winds around Rocky Point Park and Redbud Point, providing beautiful views of the lake from the bluffs and ideal picnicking along the sloping lakeshore. At this time only walk-in access is provided. There are no facilities on the trail. There are no established parking areas for this trail.

Walnut Grove Trail

Length: Short distances and up to 10 miles by Walnut Grove’s shoreline trail offers quiet lakeside rides and hikes. combining loops

Users: Hiking and equestrian

Located on the southwest portion of the lake, this trail is divided into an upper woodland trail and lower shoreline trail. In addition to Corps access points, the City of Southlake has a trail access at Harbor Court, off Burney Lane.

Driving Directions:

To White Chapel Road trailhead: From Hwy 114 take the White Chapel Blvd. exit. Head north on White Chapel Road to the end. There is limited parking for horse trailers.

To Bob Jones Road trailhead: From Hwy 114 take the White Chapel Blvd. exit. Head north on White Chapel Road and turn right on Bob Jones Road (east). Follow to end. There is very limited parking for horse trailers.

To T.W. King Road trailhead: From Hwy 114 take the White Chapel Blvd. exit. Head north on White Chapel Road and turn left on Bob Jones Road (west). Turn right onto T.W. King Road and follow to end. No horse trailer parking available.
