Cooper Lake Boat Ramps Jim Chapman Lake has five boat ramps.

South Sulphur Unit has two boat ramps. One ramp with six lanes and one ramp with two lanes of concrete construction, courtesy docks for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent asphalt parking area which hold about 60 vehicles at each ramp. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp.

Doctor's Creek Unit has one boat ramp with four lanes of concrete construction, courtesy docks for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent asphalt parking area which hold about 60 vehicles. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp.

John's Creek has one boat ramp with two lanes of concrete construction, a courtesy dock for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent asphalt parking area which hold about 40 vehicles. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. Launching is free.

Tira has one boat ramp with four lanes of concrete construction, courtesy docks for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent asphalt parking area which hold 60 vehicles. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. Launching is free.


Admission: A $5.00 payment is required to launch a boat. However, a annual pass (valid for one year from date of purchase) can be purchased for $50.00/vehicle.
