Trails
Lake Manawa trails are perfect for a hike, leisurely walk or bike ride. There are seven miles of paved trails. The trails connect to the trail system that runs throughout Council Bluffs including the Wabash Trace Trail and the Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge.

For walkers as well as mobility-impaired there is a nature trail with a paved surface.

There are also eight miles of unpaved trails perfectly suited for mountain biking located on either side of the Missouri River access on the south side of the park.
For bikers who love the trails Manawa S.P. trail is located on the very south-west edge of Manawa State Park. It has miles of curvy trail track with a variety of log crossings that will test the best of riders.

The \\\"outer area\\\" is more for family rides but the interior definitely will be a challenge even the best riders.

Definitely something for everyone.
