The Carnegie library was built in 1917-18 for $18,000. Half of the money was funded by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation. The Ladies Saturday Club helped raise the remaining contributions.... The front second floor room was built for a Billiard Room. There are designed parquet floors on the first floor and stained glass windows. There is a back staircase for access to the maid's room.
