Explore the history of one of Arizona’s oldest towns. The self-guided tour highlights the history and architecture of Florence dating back to Territorial days.

Time: 10:00am-4:00pm

Cost: $12.00 Adults (10.00 advance) Children 18 & under free. Group rates are also available.

Location: Tour Begins at Padilla Park, 440 N. Main St.

Historic Coke Ovens in Box Canyon

The Historic Coke Ovens, otherwise known as charcoal kilns, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, were built in 1882 along the Gila River by the Pinal Consolidated Mining Company, and are so inaccessible that their preservation is easily understood.
