Event Details

Deli Day â€" Traditional Jewish Cooking with a Yiddish Flavor. Sunday, 11:00am â€" 3:00pm you can "dine in" or "carry-out"

The road to Congregation Emanu-El is clear of cones and if you slow down you won't miss the drive-way (or get a speeding ticket) to a wonderful selection of Jewish foods.

A new item being served this year is the nosh of lox. What is a nosh of lox? It is a piece of cured salmon on a piece of pumpernickel bread with dill, a perfect way to start the meal.

If you come for lunch, you will be served a nosh of lox, matzo ball soup, your choice of slow roasted beef brisket or lean corned beef sandwich, kosher pickle, cucumber tomato salad, deli chips and homemade apple strudel.

If you don't have time to sit, schmooze and see who is schmoozing you can carry out from Uncle Manny's Deli. How about taking home challah, hamentashen, kugel, rugelach, blintzes, knishes, Mandelbrot to name just a few of the homemade treats made fresh by our talented congregants. There are many other items as well.
