Event Details

This is a bingo on "Scentsy" stuff. It is smelly stuff like candels and burners and stuff like that. This benefit is for The Angels on Earth Ranch. We are a non-profit organization trying to raise money to build a ranch for handicapped children. This is event will be held at the Franklin Vol. Fire Department on Greenhill Road. If you need directions just call or email us.

Snappy Lunch

Snappy Lunch was mentioned on the Andy Griffith Show and Andy ate here as a young boy. Snappy Lunch is Mount Airy's oldest restaurant, circa 1923. Oprah Winfrey and the Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno have been visitors. The Snappy Lunch was featured in the November 1998 issue of Gourmet.

The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce promotes the greater Mount Airy area including all of Surry County. The Chamber offers a step-on-tour guide service for visiting groups.The Mount Airy Visitors Center is now located in the Chamber Building.
