6 - 7 Spring Fling - First Weekend - Downtown all day. Car and motorcycle show, tractor pulls, community wide garage sale beginning at 8 AM.

19 - 20 Pheasant Phestival and - 2nd Weekend - This event draws people from all over Kansas and many other states. Hotels fill up early and hunters even sleep in tents on the fair grounds. More and more hunters are bringing their families to participate in the festival with activities for kids from tractor pulls to arts and craft stations. Crafters from a three state area gather to promote their hand-crafted products.

In Sharon Springs, festivities will begin early with a 6 AM Hunter's Breakfast, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus at the Parish hall near Main Street behind the Catholic Church Rectory.

At 8 AM participants may register on the courthouse lawn for the 5 K Phun Run or the two mile walk benefiting the Wallace County EMS group. A Home and Product Show will also begin at 8 AM at the Oak Tree Inn, where participants can also register for the antique car and bike show.

At 9 AM the Phun Run kicks off. Kids can register for the 75 yd. dash as early as 8:30 Am. Beginning at 9 am abd ending at 3 pm is the Eagle Tail Craft Fair for Hunter's wives in the High School gym. This is open to all exhibitors and the public. A quilt show will be at the Senior Center on Main Street at the same time.

From 10 AM until 12 noon a Chili Cook off will be held at the oak Tree Inn lobby, co-sponsored by 21st Century Bean Co-op. At 11 AM burgeers, brats and Coca-Cola will be served on the driveway at Penny's Diner, co-sponsored by Coca-Cola. Then at 12 noon the pedal tractor pull begins at the courthouse.

An authentic Mexican supper will be served at 5 PM until 6:30 PM at the High School commons area. Funds will go towards a matching grant for Wallace County Rotary Daycare. At 6 pm the Fireman's Association will be sponsoring a bull fry dinner at the VFW Hall.

The busy weekend ends Sunday with a Hunter's Breakfast at parish Hall at 6AM and at 12 noon gift certificates will be given away for the Longest Tail Feather contest at the Oak Tree Inn.
