Mahaffie's Fiesta Bullwhacker
- First weekend in June - Enjoy the biggest family weekend of the year at Mahaffie. Celebrate the cultures at both ends of the historic Santa Fe Trail, with Mexican music & dance, and the best of heritage entertainment, 1860s demonstrators and vendors, Mexican and American foods, Juggler, pinata breaking, kids games, petting zoo, stagecoach & pony rides, & more. Live entertainment all day, both days. 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily Public parking is available at Olathe North High School, with a free shuttle running to the Mahaffie Entrance. Halloween Trick or Treat
- October 31 always promises a fun and safe Halloween activity for participating children and families. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. over 60 businesses bring smiles to youngsters with their costumes, treats and tricks. Children receive a free trick or treat bag that they can fill up at participating businesses.
