Event Details

The first weekend in October brings warm days, cool nights and Orleans' Applefest. A celebration of the harvest, of handmade crafts, or crispy red apples and cool cider, Applefest activities can be found in every nook and corner of Orleans.

The Harlan County Ag Center is the two-day home for booths featuring handmade items. Nebraska apples and cider, and other booths can be found in the fairgrounds' Sheep Barn. A children's petting zoo is just next door. Children's games run continuously. While relaxing in the park, enjoy the free musical entertainment.

Applefest can't be enjoyed in a short period of time--there's too much to see and do.
