Rufus Porter Museum

The Rufus Porter Museum opened in 2005, dedicated to the artistic and scientific life work of the artist, Rufus Porter, 1792-1884. Housed in a 1790 home adorned with 1825 murals painted by Porter, exhibits on other local artists of the time are featured. A store featuring work by local artists is in the museum.
