The 30-acre park and Brinton Desert Botanical Garden include visual evidence of ancient Hohokam Indian canal systems dating back to 700 B.C., and an extensive desert botanical garden. Vegetation from the four desert regions is on display including trees, shrubs and 25 different varieties of prickly pear cacti. A large playground area is available for children.
