Kiwanis Community Park

Tempe's premier 125-acre park has 12-acre lake, urban fishing, boat rentals, two group picnic ramadas, sand volleyball courts, softball/soccer fields, playgrounds and Kiwanis Park Recreation Center.

Batting Cages - Ten lighted batting cages with baseball, softball, and fast-pitching softball. Group/private lessons, birthday packages and a pro shop featuring softball/baseball equipment.

Tennis Courts - Fifteen lighted courts, cushioned hard-playing surface. USTA-certified staff on duty during tennis hours, groups/private lessons, leagues, ladders and tournaments.

Recreation Center - Year-round family fun, featuring an indoor heated wave pool and water slide, lighted cushioned tennis courts, dual court multi-use wood floor, batting range, pro/gift shop, classrooms and lighted outdoor sand volleyball courts. The center offers learn to swim lessons, water fitness classes, lap swimming, as well as sport camps and leagues, and classes such as art, yoga, and karate. The perfect facility for themed birthday parties, corporate picnics and family reunions.

Attractions and Upcoming Events

ASU Planetarium

Evening shows are offered Tuesday and Thursday nights from Sept.-Nov. and Feb.-April. Shows begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and last approximately 30 to 50 minutes. Weather permitting; viewing though ASU telescopes follows each show. Reservations are required for all evening shows.
