Collins Library

category : Historic Libraries
Collins Library Collins Library is the Baker University Library but also houses the Methodist Historical Library and two of the nation's top collections - The Quayle Rare Bible Collection and Rev. Coole's Ancient Chinese Coin Collection.

The library also houses an authentic 18th century English castle room - from Urishay Castle - in the Spencer Wing. The Urishay Castle Room, located next to the Quayle collection, was taken from a fine 17th century English home, so beautiful it was called a "Castle." The room features a large stone fireplace, hand-carved oak panels and doors, and furniture from the 17th century.
