50,000 acre lake (North Carolina) with over 800 miles of shoreline. Kerr Lake offers, fishing, swimming, boat ramps, fishing pier, tot lots, ball field, camping, picnicking, bird watching and hiking. Community buildings, campsites, and picnic shelters are for rent. Major fishing tournaments, boating and skiing are popular water sports on Kerr Lake.
