The Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon

Built between 1767 and 1771, South Carolina delegates to the First Continental Congress were elected here in 1774. The Provost Dungeon was used as a prison by the British during the Revolution. Animatronic characters enhance the tour of this National Historic Landmark.
