The disappointment of travel is often the predictable sterility of a hotel or motel accommodations. At TOWN & COUNTRY INN the emphasis is on the important amenities of a home-like atmosphere. From the warmth of bedrooms with private baths to the cozy, relaxing living and dining rooms, we make our guests feel right at home. The living room fireplace and big-screen TV remind guests to pretend they are in their own home. Once you have settled in comfortably, come downstairs and relax in the common area where guests meet and enjoy fresh brewed coffee or tea by the fireplace. The sitting area upstairs offers you a relaxing place to pick a book to read or thumb through a current magazine. Dinner at one of our local restaurants is always a pleasure. When you return, your room will be ready for you, or come downstairs and enjoy some company and dessert. After a filling breakfast, take a stroll through Aiken and visit our antique, art and gift shops, book stores or search out some of Aiken's areas of interest such as the beautiful Hopeland Gardens (a walk thru beauty), The Thoroughbred Hall of Fame, Hitchcock Woods, Montmorenci Vineyards and much, much more. Our Inn is located one mile from the Aiken Mall, four miles from the Historic Downtown Aiken, and conveniently located near a jogging track, the horse events such as Aiken Mile, Triple Crown, and a number of well known golf courses. Convenient for travelers with horses. Two Barns that accomodate 11 horses available.
