15 - 17 World Sheep Expo, Fiber Arts and Wildflower Festival - The World Sheep Expo will feature hundreds of fiber artists, wool crafters, natural dye plants, lamb shows, strolling musicians, Australian-style sheep shearing, working Scottish Border Collies, and an open grand parade at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

24 Christmas in Bethel - A festival which recreates the warm-hearted German Christmas traditions dating back to the original Bethel Colony days in the mid- to late-19th century. Colony homes are decorated for Christmas and a Vesper service is followed by a candlelit parade own the streets of Bethel to the Colony Bandstand which is lit with hundreds of tiny white lights.

Shops open at 10:00 a.m. This is a great time to shop for one of a kind gifts. B & L Crafts featuring handmade items. The Quilting Post has several quilts as unique gifts, Colony gift shop, Little Bit Used, SLR Photography and the Country Store has a variety of Christmas Items. Smorgasbord: Serving 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in Fest Hall Childrens Choir- on the Bandstand at 12:00 Contest: Decorated Yards: Judges will come around Saturday evening and Judge your home Decorated Pet- 12:30 pm At the Bandstand (Weather Permitting) All Pets Welcome!!! Decorated Christmas Tree- Tree need to be set up in the Legion Hall by 10:00 am. You can bring your trees Saturday if you would like. They will be given a number and judged by the Public. Living Christmas Tree- Performance at the Bethel Christian Church at 3:00 pm Historical Review: (Relive the history of the Bethel Colony) at the Christian Church 3:45 pm Music in the Fest Hall during the day A Visit from Black Santa Colony Home Tours Enjoy Drinking Custard and Homemade Cookies throughout the day in the Fest Hall Vesper Service At the Methodist Church at 5:00 pm Candlelight walk to the Historic Bandstand following Vespers for the Official Light of Bethel Enjoy Soup and Sandwiches in the Fest Hall Following the lighting of Bethel Children's Program held at the Bethel Christian Church at 7:00 pm Thank you for supporting events in Historic Bethel The past year.
