Presented by CORE® Construction, the event features:
Air Show and Fly over by Luke Air Force Base at 11 a.m.
• Historic and military static aircraft displays
• Remote control plane demonstrations
• Skydivers
• Buckeye Police and Fire demonstrations
• Live entertainment from the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West, Manhattan Dolls and more

8 - 9 Annual Pioneer Days Melodrama - The Annual Melodrama "Bulldog Saves the Day" will start at 7 pm. Intermission will include OLIO acts. Refreshments will be available. Show will be performed by the Buckeye Actors Guild. This show will deliver a villain, hero, sign girl and lots of laughs. Tickets are available in advance at the Buckeye Public Library, 310 N. 6th Street. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for 12 and under. For more information call Lindsay Yanko or email.

9 Viper Vanguard Annual Car Show - The Verrado High School Viper Vanguard Marching Band is pleased to be hosting their Annual Viper Thunder Classic Annual Car & Cycle Show. The annual event is held to raise money for the Vanguard to cover expenses associated with their performances. Monies raised help to purchase instruments, music, and fund the band’s travels. The day promises to be one that is full of fun for the whole family. In addition to the car show, the event will include: drawings, kiddie corner, music, entertainment, shopping and food vendors.
Registration forms and information about the show are available on the band’s website. Car registration will be held from 8 am to 10 am; show starts at 10am. Hope to see you there!

12 Viva Buckeye - Join the Town of Buckeye Community Services Department in celebrating Viva Buckeye! The event will take place on Friday, April 30th from 6pm-9pm at Earl Edgar Recreational Facility, located at corner of Miller and Beloat Road. There will be entertainment for the whole family to enjoy including children's area, Chihuahua dog races, live entertainment, food and traditional music. If you never seen Chihuahua races, you are in for an exciting time. The application to register your dog is available at www.buckeyeaz.gov or by contacting Phil Yabes at 623-349-6604 for more information. The theme for the children's area is El Dia de los Ninos/El Dia de los Libros (Children's Day/Book Day). The activities located in the children's area are games that help encourage a love for reading; book giveaways, special story telling area and book bingo for kids of all ages. A variety of traditional Hispanic food will be available for purchase. Live entertainment and dance area will be located at the stage. Admission is free. Bring your family and friends to enjoy another spectacular Town of Buckeye event. This event sponsored in part by Buckeye Main Street Coalition. July

4 4th of July Celebration - Pack your blanket and chairs and enjoy the tailgate style event at Buckeye’s Independence Day Celebration from 6:30-9:30p.m. at Buckeye Municipal Airport. Bring out your best yard games to enjoy the summer evening.

This festive event will also include All-American eats & treats with a variety of food trucks and vendors and music for entertainment. The patriotic celebration will finish with a drive-in style spectacular fireworks show at approximately 8:45p.m.

12 Annual Thunder in the Desert - Jones Ford Buckeye will be hosting its annual Thunder in the Desert Car Show
benefitting Phoenix Children`s Hospital.
Open to all makes and models, over 20 awarded classes, vendors, cash awards for certain classes.
There will be fun for the whole family. 50/50 drawing, goodie bags for all registered participants, raffle prizes, DJ for music, kids bouncer.
Food, early morning swap meet, etc.

11 Halloween Carnival - Games, contests, entertainment, and lots of candy await festival goers at the Town of Buckeye Community Service's Halloween Carnival from 6 - 9 pm. 2 Hometown Holiday Boutique - Come join the Town of Buckeye Community Services Department for a one stop shop experience and a bit of family fun at the Hometown Holiday Boutique. Over 100 vendors will be showcasing their prized creations of art & craft as well as antiques, books, jewelry, candles, furniture, traditional Friends of the Library book sale and much more. In addition to the traditional boutique shopping, activities such as bingo, community yard sale, and the Lil' Miss and Mister Pageant from Heritage Days has been added to this event.
