This event portrays life on the early Ohio frontier.Participants and visitors walk into a living history event that includes camps, vendors, and events from the pre-1840 era. See skilled demonstrators exhibit their trades including: muscians, storytellers, archers, tomahawk and knife throwers, primitive shooters, herbal dyers, candle makers, wool spinners, cooking, and other skills needed to survive during this time. Located in one of the most beautiful areas of Ohio, the event is near the Ohio Caverns, Piatt Castles, Marie's Candy Shop, and the quaint village of West Liberty offering numerous shops of interest. Participants adhere to strict quidelines, ensuring an authentic experience. Be careful-it has been known that captives have been taken from their families only to be sold or traded to tribes or longhunters. A birch bark canoe might float by as you smell supper cooking on the fire.
