The Rowlesburg Historical Society and the Town of Rowlesburg has planned a centennial celebration for Tray Run Viaduct. The event includes a site visit, guest speakers representing the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, banquet, unveiling of new train exhibit at the Railroad Depot Museum and, a rare opportunity for a night time photo op of the viaduct, located on Route 72, 7/10 of a mile from the City limits of Rowlesburg. The Tray Run Viaduct is an important part of West Virginia history. It is a wonderful example of early 20th century railroad engineering and architecture.
