Deanbell purchased every yard of netting, tulle and silk fabric we could find prior to store closings. Our entire crew worked through the night draping and hanging fabrics to create a lush setting of a Paris niteclub on the 1920s. Sort of Toulouse Lautrec meets Moulin Rouge. We created centerpieces from baguettes, vegetables and herbs. Table overlays from gold lame fabrics. We covered empty boxes with wallpaper and fabrics to create a stage backdrop. We borrowed cafe chairs from a local restaurant and made a few large props from cardboard, foam scrap and spray paint. The end result was stunning. The client was very happy and at that moment I was hooked on planning parties and special events.
