Event Details
Every year, several thousand people mark their calendars for the first Thursday after Thanksgiving because they don’t want to miss one of the biggest town events all year!
Clayton’s Main Street is closed for 2-1/2 hours of music, holiday cheer, a business open house, a live Nativity, and, of course, the traditional tree lighting at Town Square. Huge thanks to the wonderfully dedicated volunteers who help make this event possible each year! It's become such a big deal, that ALL THREE Raleigh/Durham television affiliates come to cover the festivities.
