Cultural Sensitivity Workshop

St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church is hosting a one-day workshop on providing ministry in a multicultural community.

When: Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Where: St. Michael and All Angels Church, 602 N. Wilmot Wilmot Rd. & 5th

To participate: Please register by telephoning the church office at 520-886-7292.

Beverages will be provided, and a simple lunch may be purchased for $5.00.
When you phone, please let us know if you will be purchasing lunch.

Background: The goal of the workshop is to provide guidance for whose members represent different cultural groups. The workshop will include a series of questions presented in a 23 page booklet which will be given to each participant. Participants will be giving the opportunity to discuss their beliefs and practices that help them describe their own culture in order to eventually arrive at a framework for understanding.
