Kansas City, Kansas

We're going back....back in time when Jug McSpaden, creator of Dub's Dread, had a vision. That vision was to create a golf club that offered a superb design, premier playing conditions and outstanding service. Dub's Dread has always been considered a golf club for the purist and offering a stern test for even the best players.

Walk in the footsteps of Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicholas and of course, our own Jug McSpaden. From the inaugural round in 1964, through several high profile matches that followed, Dub's Dread has attracted some of the best the game of golf has ever seen.

In the spirit of the rich history and tradition initiated by Jug McSpaden, Dub's Dread is known for its superb design, premier playing conditions and outstanding service. More than a golf course…truly an experience.

Dub's Dread may have the greatest natural layout of any golf course in the Kansas City area. Built in the early '60s as the longest course in the world, a worldwide reputation we still enjoy today, DDGC provides a challenging yet enjoyable round for everyone from the "scratch" player to the high handicapper. From the well-positioned tees the course plays from 5400 yards to 7100 yards.

Dub's Dread is known for it's "one of a kind, natural layout", majestic trees, not homes, lining each fairway, a series of lakes winding through the course and exceptionally large undulating greens. Each hole is different: enjoy total serenity unmatched natural beauty and great course conditions. Come and enjoy dinner, drinks, friends and a great view whether you're golfing or not at the inviting, comfortable restaurant and bar (The Legends). We have one of Kansas City's top pro shops and a staff that understands first-rate service. We also have unique meeting, conference and personal event facilities available for members and non-members alike.
