16 - 18 Flint Hills Beef Fest - Celebrate the cattle industry with BBQ contest, rodeo, Beef Producers Seminar, steak dinner, and nationally known entertainment. Cattle are off grass, weighed, judged, and at the feedlot. Awards Banquet featuring nearly $18,000 in prizes.

23 Christmas Parade - Enjoy the Annual Christmas Parade in Emporia, KS.
