WHAT: The DNA LifePrint Child Safety Safari is designed to promote awareness and education for parents and children in an effort to protect children against violence. The program was designed to DNA fingerprint every child in your area during our national tour. In each area a corporate citizen steps forward and underwrites this program. Your area has a stop on our tour due to the invitation and kind donation of: DICK EDWARDS AUTO CENTER in CLAY CENTER, KANSAS.

- Endorsed by John Walsh, Host of ?America?s Most Wanted?

THE FINGERPRINTING OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM: This kit is completely non-invasive; meaning no blood is taken or handled. The procedure is simply rubbing the inside of the child?s cheek for several seconds with the applicator in the kit. The applicator is then inserted into a fixation solution, contained in a vial?and the child?s DNA is captured and will be preserved for more than 80 years. Studies have shown that unless fingerprints are taken by a trained technician, they are notoriously unreliable as a means of identification. DNA LifePrint eliminates inaccuracy, and provides parents with the F.B.I.?s preferred method for instant help in an investigation.

NO DATA BASING: After each child goes through the line, the parents are handed the DNA sample. The only record of the visit is handed to the parent. The parents are then given John Walsh?s child safety tips and instructions on the DNA sample.
