Event Details

First full week in August - Starting Monday with Open Youth Rodeo. Following nights include, Mutton bustin', Calf Scramble, Greased Pig race, Cow milking contest, stick horse race, pedal pull, egg gathering, draft horse team pulling contest, bull blast, barrel racing, amateur flat track racing, parade on Saturday, and Demolition Derby. Horse shows, rabbit shows, dog shows, animal shows, midway entertainment, and carnival.

Black Jack Log Cabin

A white oak log cabin stands at the roadside park three miles east of Baldwin on Highway 56. Built in observance of Kansas' centennial in 1961, it now houses historical artifacts as well as hosting meetings and gatherings.
