During MUMfest Weekend, visitors to Tryon Palace will enjoy the beauty of thousands of chrysanthemums in the Palace gardens. Free informal garden tours will be given each day.
Gardens open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

River Bend Golf & Country Club
Front nine is wide open on sandy soil with no water holes, but look out for houses on both sides of fairways. Back nine is grouped with five water holes. Two distinct nines on the same course. 18 holes, par 7; clubhouse, range, putting green, chipping green, pro shop, rentals, school.
