Event Details

Entries accepted Friday, May 1 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Vases and entry tags will be furnished. Irises will be judged. All entries will receive participation ribbons, youth and adults. There will be a Best of Show, Horticulture Excellence, and Junior Achievements awarded as well.

Exhibits - Grade School Art Classes, Arizona Jewelry, The Quilt Pantry, Ruth Ann's Crafts. 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Cann Memorial Garden Center

A pathway winds under a wisteria arbor around a lily pond and through spectacular color- coordinated beds of perennials, herbs and annuals in this peaceful botanical garden. The gardens were donated to the City of Ponca City by Elsie Cann Brown, daughter of L. A. and Mary Cann in August 1975.

Cultural Center Museum & Visitors Center

The Ponca City Cultural Center Museum is the former home of Ernest Whitworth Marland, tenth Governor of Oklahoma, who came to Ponca City to visit the 101 Ranch. He remained to build a vast oil empire. He was the founder and president of Marland Oil Company, now Conoco Inc.
