Vermont's largest agricultural fair features exciting midway rides for all ages, live music, livestock events, motorsports, mini golf, The Silver Circus Show, Tom Joyce "The Magic Man," Pirate Man Dan, music by Buffalo Barfield, Children's Barnyard activities, chainsaw artists, Maple Sugar House, Milking Parlor, exhibits, 4-H workshops, demonstrations, contests and favorite fair food.
Daily highlights:
* Tuesday - Gymkhana (5pm), Demo Derby (7pm), Sanctuary band (7pm)
* Wednesday - Ox Pulling (9:30am), VT Bluegrass Pioneers (7pm), Demo Derby (7pm)
* Thursday - ACFFD Open Horse Show (8am), Pony Pulling (10:30am), Line Dancing Demo/Instruction (7pm)
* Friday - Draft Horse Show (9:30am), VTPA Pulls (6pm), Blues and Beyond Band (7pm)
* Saturday - NYTPA Pulls (noon), 40th Army Band's Iron Sights (7pm), Fireworks (9:15pm)
Fair admission (includes grandstand events, shows, exhibits & parking): $15 Tuesday - Friday, $20 Saturday; $5 for ages 6-11; free for kids 5 & younger. See the website for season passes and Senior Day info.
Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36" & taller) are $25 on site or online at DreamlandAmusements.com before noon July 29 for $20 each or 4/$75. Ride tickets are also available on the midway.
The fairgrounds open at 8:30am Tuesday - Wednesday, 8am Thursday, and 9am Friday - Saturday. Midway hours are noon-11pm.
