Downtown, Florala's Masonic Lodge #686 and Chapter #441 of the Order of Eastern Star—This is the oldest Masonic celebration in the U.S. Features 5k run, fishing tournament, carnival, parade, arts and crafts, horseshoe tournament, antique car show, street dance, fire department water battle. 5 Fun in the Park - For a positive alternative to Halloween and Trick or Treat, area churches come together for a joint effort to provide a safe environment for all our children. Admission is a canned good. This collection of food will be an outreach mission of this event and will go to benefit the Tri-City Area Food Bank, in association with the Tri-City Ministerial Association. Costumes of a positive nature are encouraged. Popcorn, colas, cotton candy, poppet show, all kinds of games, candy, hair painting, face painting, beads, balloons and much more are all free.

10 Christmas on the Lake - Live Christmas carols throughout the day, open house by the local antique stores, art galleries and other businesses, Bar-B-Q by the Historical Society and famous homemade plates by the local restaurants, goodies available from the local clubs including fudge, divinity, pralines, cookies, pies and cakes at the Whistle Stop Café in Tyner Station (the old L&N Depot). The Civic club's arts and craft booths and displays at Tyner Station, Christmas Parade through downtown Florala with the lighting of the town tree.
