Event Details

Truly a "home-grown" fair featuring everything from farm animals to blue ribbon pies. This year there will be live entertainment, educational booths, food, and fun for children of all ages. Horse show & livestock, small animals, agriculture, floriculture, handicrafts, lapidary, fine arts, photography, and other exhibits will be on display.

Historic Courthouse

The old Gila County Courthouse is now home to the Cobre Valley Center for the Arts. This building was actually the second county courthouse built on this site. The original courthouse, completed in September 1888, was evidently inadequate to begin with. By March, 1907

The Eder House

This Colonial Revival home was built in 1905 of unbaked adobe and has a hip roof and a full-width veranda. It was originally an 868 sq. ft. duplex with an outhouse in the back. The shake shingle roof was covered with sheets of corrugated metal, and newspapers dated 1938
