This year's Great Greenbrier River Race will be held Saturday April 28th at the Municipal Park in Marlinton.
Leg 1: 3 miles - Run from the Park east on Rt 39, then go north on the Greenbrier River Trail for about one mile where it will be clearly marked for you to turn around and run he same path back to the Park by the river.
Leg 2: 4 miles - Canoe from the Park to Buckeye, down below the blue bridge.
Leg 3: 10 miles - Bike from Buckeye south for a bout 2.5 miles then turn around and bike back through Marlinton to the Municipal Park - from where you started!
When the Race is finished, there will be hot music from the band Mixed Nuts, a catered lunch by one of the area's top chef's and lot of prizes and fun! If you want to volunteer on the day of the Race, contact Robin at robinyoung1@msn.com Volunteers get a T-shirt, free lunch, and our undying gratitude.
