(Weekend Following July 4th) - Celebrating hometown hero, Grover Cleveland Alexander since 1991. Classic Car Show, music talent contest, sidewalk sales, food court, parade, old timers baseball game, street dance, and more. Parade Sat at 10 am; talent contest Sun 1 pm.

Howard County was established in 1871, the same year St. Paul was established and named the first county seat. In 1877 the first courthouse was built. By 1912 county officials were interested in replacing the aging building. Construction began in 1912
