Admission: Adult $9.00 + tax. Children ages 5 - 12 $4.00 + tax. Under age 5 Free.
Hours: 8 am - 5 pm with extended summer hours. We are open every day of the year, including all major Holidays, except Christmas Day.

After a spirited disagreement the county seat was moved from Lowell to Minden, and a frame building was erected on this site in 1879. The cornerstone of the present building was laid July 17, 1906
