The display items are so well arranged in chronological order of developemnt that they can all be seen by walking less than a mile. Admission: Adult $9.00 + tax. Children ages 5 - 12 $4.00 + tax. Under age 5 Free.
Hours: 8 am - 5 pm with extended summer hours. We are open every day of the year, including all major Holidays, except Christmas Day.

WPA Post Office Mural

At the southeast corner of the square is the Minden Post Office. It was completed in 1937 in the style called by some "WPA Moderne". The mural over the postmaster's door was painted by Willow E. Bunn in the WPA artists' program in 1939.
