The Iowa Prairie Rose Cookers Dutch Oven Society and the Linn County Conservation host the Midwest Dutch Oven Gathering. Check in begins on Friday at 12noon with a group meal served Friday evening.
Saturday's activities include group meals, cook-offs, demos, Dutch oven cooking classes, vendors, a Scout Dutch Oven Show Down, live music by McPunk Brothers Bluegrass, and a celebrity demo by Iowa's own outdoor cooking specialist, "Cousin Rick", Rick Black of Fort Madison, Iowa.
Classes will be taught by Cindy and Charlie Overton from Black Pot Demos, Wisconsin.
